BMB employees cook 300 meals following the Beirut blast

August 19, 2020

Following the tragedy that Lebanon experienced on August 4, 2020, its devastating effect on the community, and the helplessness we have felt in the face of such adversity, we have all been looking for ways to be of use.

For this reason, a group of BMB employees organized a relief activity to help those who got really affected by the blast and the harsh economic crisis the country is going through.

On August 18, a group of employees got together at “Sett el Settet” kitchen in Achrafieh to prepare around 300 meals. The meals were then sent to “Tariqna Al Sama” association that took care of the distribution.

We would like to thank everyone involved in this activity whether they have donated to the cause, bought the necessary items, helped organize, or volunteered to prepare and dispatch the meals.

A special thanks is due to “Sett el Settet” catering which offered their kitchen for free and Chef Nidal Nawfal who donated his time and expertise.

We hope that we were able to play a small part in easing the burden of those less fortunate.
