Role Summary
We are seeking a talented Android Developer with strong backend integration skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in building Android applications but will also have a solid understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL databases and WCF .NET services, enabling seamless integration between mobile apps and enterprise backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Implement responsive UIs and ensure smooth user experiences across devices.
- Work with Android SDK, third-party libraries, and APIs.
- Backend Integration & Databases
- Integrate Android applications with WCF .NET web services and REST APIs.
- Write efficient queries and procedures for SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Troubleshoot and optimize mobile–database interactions for performance.
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with backend engineers, QA, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Document development processes, system integrations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Quality & Performance
- Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with best practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across environments.
- Optimize app performance for scalability and high availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin).
- Strong experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL (queries, procedures, optimization).
- Working knowledge of WCF .NET services and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug across application and backend layers.
